JUBILEE SHOALS PINNACLE

Jubilee Shoals Pinnacle is a pillar that rises 40 meters up from the sea floor. You start at the top and descend to 18 meters, where there is a large cave. The entrance to the cave is 3 meters high and 5 meters wide. Inside you'll find an abundance of corals, algae and other marine life such as turtles, lionfish, spotted nudibranchs and lobsters. The site is located in Jubilee Shoals. This is one of the largest reef systems in Cyprus, with numerous walls, pillars, caves, caverns, plateaus, overhangs, canyons, troughs and swimthroughs. The reef is about 1.3 km long with depths ranging from 16 to 60 meters.

Jubilee Shoals Pinnacle is located 5 kilometers from Pissouri Bay. It's the the largest known reef system on Cyprus. The reef has a steep wall and extends 1,3 kilometers to the east and west. The site can be reached by boat.
Warnings
The fine, white sand in the caves of Jubilee Shoals Pinnacle dusts up easily. Stay away from the bottom.
