MIGRA FERHA
Malta
Migra Ferha has two beautiful dive routes to choose from. The route to the north will take you to a littered car 'grave yard', now taken over by nature, and a reef with a 30 meter drop-off. The southern route leads to the boulder area with depths up to 25 meters and a 36 meter drop-off. Explore the overhang, caves and boulders on your way back.
Particulars
Migra Ferha is a dive site for the experienced and very fit divers only because of the 150 steps stairway that leads to the entry point. Keep the fishermen in this area happy, for they are the ones that made the steps and maintain them after heavy rainfall.
Warnings
Only exit point for miles around, so watch the current! Take a 20 to 30 minute break after your dive before taking the stairs to the parking to prevent exercise related DCS! You are far away from urban areas and help!
