Challenging dive site

Oesterputten is located in a remote nature reserve and therefore only accessible by boat. Common species here are sea anemones, plumose anemones and sponges. Oesterputten also has 4 small jetties, wonderfully overgrown with anemones, and sandy areas where flat fish hide. As the name Oesterputten indicates, oysters are grown here.

Particulars

Large flatfish can be found in the sandy bottom between 5 and 15 meters.

Warnings

No diving at northern winds, stronger than windforce 4. Beware of strong currents, especially after low water reversal.
