ZILVEREN SCHOR 84A
Nederland, Zeeland
Zilveren Schor is a beautiful dive site with a special underwater world where there is much to see. Dive past the high vertical walls of clay, giant peat blocks and far overhanging walls. In some places the walls are worn down to 3 meters, creating a cave-like space. These small caves are home to mussels, eels, crabs and shrimp. Here and there the walls have collapsed and fallen to the bottom. Stay away from the unstable overhangs and beware of pleasure boats.
Particulars
Zilveren Schor can only be reached by boat. Entering from the shore would only be possible through Harbour Village. At the shore the bottom slopes fairly quickly to a depth of 20 meters.
Warnings
Zilveren Schor has overhanging and potentially unstable, peat walls. Be careful. Avoid boating season. The site is located next to a small harbour.
