Christ of the Abyss is a gigantic, 2000 kilo bronze statue of Jesus Christ, sunk off the coast of Key Largo in Florida. The statue lies in a shallow reef in John Pennekamp, Coral Reef State Park. It's one in a series of three, made by the Italian sculptor, Guido Galletti. The original 'Il Christo Degli Abissi' is located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Genoa in Italy.
