French reef is a large reef in the Florida Upper Keys with many passages, crevices and caves. The area is known for its four caves, with names such as Christmas Tree Cave, White Sand Bottom Cave, Hourglass Cave and Fice Caves. French Reef is also suited for snorkelers.

Enter the water from the boat. In front of you lies a large reef with lots of interesting locations. At the same time there is this chance of encountering large pelagic fish species, such as hammerhead sharks and manta rays.

Warnings

Due to the absence of current, visibility can sometimes be poor. Take a diving lamp with you.
