Big Delight is absolutely a delightful diving location. The shallow part of Big Delight is covered with an abundance of beautiful fan corals. The drop-off is a long way off the coast and is covered with beautiful hard coral formations. Big Delight is also a good dive site for spotting turtles, rays and caribbean reef sharks.
Particulars
Big Delight is located on the south side of Lac Bay. Park at the old fishing cabin, just south of the resorts. Then you have to walk a quite a distance to reach the entry point, first through shallow water and later on over land. Enter the water where the flat coastline ends and where the coral dam, which is located along the coast, starts.
Warnings
Delight has some hazards. Always dive with a local guide who knows the currents and dangers and only in calm weather conditions.
