KLEINE STELLE 67
Nederland, Zeeland
Kleine Stelle is a popular dive site. This is partly due to campsite Kleine Stelle nearby, with diving facilities. Kleine Stelle's underwater world is beautiful. The dike is beautifully overgrown to great depths and there is enough marine to be found on the sandy bottoms, such as snails and nudibranchs. At low tide, part of the spot falls dry and the oyster beds emerge. You then have to walk over the oysters and stones to reach the water. From the waterline, you then descend along a fairly steep wall to a depth of about 25 meters. At high tide, you can reach a depth of even 50 meters. This is close to the fairway. So do not make free ascents. Kleine Stelle is marked by the image of a green diver on the concrete platform next to the stairs.
Particulars
Park at Kleine Stelle near the campsite or along the road and enter the water via the stairs. Dive over the beautifully overgrown basalt stones until you reach the silted sections at greater depths.
Warnings
Dive at Klein Stelle preferably at high tide, so you don't have to wade a long way through shallow water. The current can sometimes be treacherous. Don't dive all the way to the fairway. The campsite Kleine Stelle is crowded with divers and day trippers i
