LIGHTHOUSE POINT
Bonaire
Lighthouse Point consists of a shallow sandy bottom that slowly passes over into coral. Eels and rays hide under the sand while large schools of fish roam free in open water. Different types of hard and soft coral grow in dense formations in a spectacular reef garden. The drop-off lies at 15 meters. At this point the coral increases in density to slowly pass over into a sandy area between 30 and 35 meters.
Particulars
You need to climb over a small wall to reach Lighthouse Point's entry point. This can be a challenge, especially with your diving gear on. Divers are kindly requested to enter the water next to the resort.
