LOKKERSNOL 35
Nederland, Zeeland
Lokkersnol is a remote and quit dive site. From the head of the breakwater, you'll reach a nicely vegetated slope that runs 20 meters into the deep. Huge boulders form an erratic bottom structure. Underneath are steel slag, which were dumped here in 2010 by way of dyke reinforcement. Lokkersnol is home to lobsters, crabs and squid. In early spring they deposit their eggs against the rocks.
Particulars
Lokkersnol can be entered from the shore. Bring a rope to hold on to. A boat dive is recommended because of the walking distance and the rocky entry.
Warnings
At Lokkersnol, the entry point is located far from the parking area. Getting into the water at low tide is tricky because of the very slippery rocks.
