PREEKHIL DE BUNKER 21 A
Nederland, Zuid Holland
Preekhil De Bunker is one of the few dive sites on the north side of lake Grevelingen. It's an old, less known dive site where you can dive in peace and quiet. The site is located opposite the Bunker Complex Preekhilpolder. This World War II German infantry support base is now a well-known historical landmark in the city of Ouddorp. The complex, refurbished in 2005, was part of the Atlantic Wall and includes armored anti-aircraft guns, ammunition bunkers, a man's quarters and a machine gun bunker.
Particulars
Preekhil De Bunker is located at Goeree-Overflakkee in South Holland on the north side of lake Grevelingen. After parking your car you'll pass two gates. Turn right at the second gate to reach the top of the dike. Turn right again at the first bend until you reach the end of the dike. Enter the water at the first breakwater or in opposite the bunker.
Warnings
Preekhil The Bunker is far from the parking lot. Bring a trolley or book a boat dive.
