Shallow Reef is a relatively unknown dive site in the far northwest corner of Aruba. It's a shallow dive site with a rocky entry which is suitable for experienced snorkelers and experienced divers. Not the best dive and snorkel site on the island, with however a few beautiful areas. Diving at Shallow Reef is only possible under calm weather conditions.
Particulars
Shallow Reef is easily accessible. Park on the unpaved road and walk along the beach into the water. The water close to the shore is the domain of snorkelers, swim out to reach the reef.
Warnings
Shallow Reef dan be rough due to high waves and surf. Diving at Shallow Reef is only possible under calm weather conditions. Watch out for sea urchins. The use of a surface buoy is recommended. Snorkeling, only experienced snorkelers and only close to the
