The SMS Coln lies on the starboard side at a depth of 36 meters, with the bow to the north. The SMS Cöln is for many divers one of the favorites of Scapa Flow. And not without reason. Of the four cruisers, which are sunk in the bay, The sms Coln is in the best condition. Only the engine room was destroyed during salvage operations and the propeller is removed.
