TABARKA
Groot Brittanie
The Tabarka is one of the so-called block ships from Skapa Flow. These ships where sunk to block the entrance to the bay for submarines. The Tabarka is located in shallow fast flowing tide water. It doesn’t have a lot of historical value because it is fully upside down so upon first view there is little to see. The added value lies in the wreck. The strong current makes for an abundance of life, the interior has changed into a true spectacle. The ship is on all sides illuminated by rays sunlight. It is phenomenal.
