SNOGHØJ
Denmark
Dive site Snoghøj has a varied seabed with sandy bottoms, waving kelp formations and areas of sea grass. The heart of this dive site is formed the pillar of the Old Lillebælt Bridge, which is located about a hundred meters from the entry point. This beautiful dive object, which is unfortunately covered with quite a few lost fishing nets, is a habitat for anemones, starfish, sea anemones, crabs, lobsters, red and green weeds and much more.
Particulars
Enter Snoghøj as close to the bridge pillar as possible. The bottom slopes slowly. You have reached the bridge pillar when it gets darker and the current seems to decrease.
Warnings
Watch out for pleasure boats and fishing vessels at Snoghøj. Use a dive flag and a surface buoy. Lots of abandoned fishing nets, bring your dive knife.
