WUPPERTALSPERRE
Duitsland, Nordrhein-Westfalen
Wuppertalsperre is a diving area with remains from the time before the Wuppertal Dam was built. You can still see old foundations and rubble from this time and here and there you can find old objects. The lake has hardly any vegetation. You will encounter fish, however. Special in Wuppertalsperre is the 'viaduct'. This is an old bridge with three bridge arches through which you can dive. Other well-known diving objects in Wuppertalsperre are the Pipe Bridge, the Factory Facade and the Cellar. Visibility in the Wuppertalsperre is best from May through June. A diving club with changing rooms, shower and toilet is located at the dive site. Take notice of opening hours. Paid diving. Annual and day passes available.
