Eastern Dry Rocks is a dive site with an old galleon that is hardly recognizable anymore. Scattered over the dive area you will find, besides some copper ship parts, old stones that were once used on board the ship as ballast. Only enthusiastic and dedicated divers are able to recognize underwater objects from the ship.

Enter the water from the boat. Eastern Dry Rocks is marked on the west side by a steel beam. The area is two miles east of Sand Key and six miles south of Key West.

Eastern Dry Rocks is a SPA site. You may not take anything from this area. The SPA (Sanctuary Preservation Area) is part of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
