Stavenisse Quaak is the eastern most dive site of the dive sites near the village of Stavenisse. It's a nice dive site covered with beautiful plumose anemones in shallow waters and starfish, brittlestar, mussels and anemones in the more deeper parts. Stavenisse Quaak is also know for its lumpsuckers, which can be spotted in spring. Currents can be very strong. Therefore limit your dive time to about one hour. You'll have the best visibility in an offshore, southeast wind.
Particulars
Enter Stavenisse Quaak via the breakwater at the corner of the dike. The site starts shallow but eventually reaches depths up to 40 meters. Dive in westerly direction to get back to the entry point. Park your car on the Keetenweg along the dike, near the campsite.
Warnings
Stavenisse Quaak is suitable for experienced drift divers only. Dive at low tide only. Be careful, boating channel nearby.
