CHOGOGO
Bonaire
Chogogo is an unmarked dive site so not very busy. You will see a lot of wonderful, soft coral in very good condition. Chogogo is like Red Slave one of the most southern dive sites of Bonaire. Therefore the current can be strong. The coral at Chogogo is interspersed with sand and sand channels which makes this dive varied. Drive past the Zoupier and the white slave huts. The dive site is located near a parking lot along the road, just before Red Slave.
Particulars
From the shore you swim over a sandy bottom until you reach a depth of 9 meters, that’s were the drop-off starts.
Warnings
Strong current that can change direction during your dive. Stop your dive when the current gets too strong. Difficult to enter the water when the winds are strong.
