The Ouderkerkerplas is a nice dive site with varied visibility. Spectacular in the Ouderkerkerplas is the huge pile of debris on the east side. Between 5 and 9 meters there are large amounts of wire steel, blocks of concrete and twisted iron. This is a great location to explore, but watch out not to damage your gear. Less experienced divers can avoid this area. Best visibility in spring. From October to The Ouderkerkerplas is closed to divers and other recreational visitors from October till May because of wintering birds. Take notice of opening hours.

Enter the water in the north corner of the Ouderkerkerplas at the concrete entry point. The Ouderkerkerplas is a dive site with a lot of debris, which can make your dive adventurous. Try to spot pike and eels between the rubble.
Warnings
The Ouderkerkerplas is closed for divers and other recreational visitors from October till May because of wintering birds. Entry point may be slippery. Diving at surf beach prohibited. Varied visibility. Beware, iron debris may influence your compass.
