TIJNINGENPLAS WEST
Nederland, Gelderland
The Tijningenplas West is a nice dive site with two entry points. You can enter the water at a beach or at a fishing pier, with steps. The underwater world consists of shore vegetation, plant zones and large clay blocks. The Tijningenplas West is also rich in fish. Pike, perch, roach and crayfish are some regular residents. Unlike the east side, there are no objects in Tijningenplas West. It's nature that prevails here. There is a lush plantzone near the shore and in front of the beach lies a large tree. Schools of roaches shoot in front of you and carp and tench hide between the branches.
Particulars
Enter the the Tijningenplas West at the beach or the jetty. Most diving takes place at the beach. Still, both locations are worthwhile and both are equally accessible. At the beach the bottom slopes gradually and you can stand in front of the jetty. Underwater you'll find a diving area with plants and large clay blocks where crayfish and eels hide.
Warnings
There is regular angling in the Tijningen plas West. Check if there are anglers present and consult with them. The fishing pier is close to a residential area. Be discreet while changing clothes.
