Dive site Gooise Blokken is located in 't Gooimeer. The site achieves visibility values up to 8 meters. It's a beautiful but somewhat tricky dive site. You have to know where to dive and when to avoid bad conditions and hazards. The underwater world consists of large peat blocks, sandy bottoms and oyster beds. Common species are bass, eels, bream and crayfish. The water of 't Gooimeer has a light red tea color. Dive zigzagging westward and back to explore the area.
Particulars
Gooise Blokken can only be reached by boat. Use the free trailer slope on the Gooimeerdijk-West or rent a boat in Almere or Huizen. Dock at het 1.10 m. buoy, in front of the harbor of Almere. There are no boats at this spot because of a sandbank.
Warnings
Gooise Blokken is suitable for advanced divers, who know how to use their compass. Professional boating. Stay away from the fairway. Pleasure boats present. Use a buoy and don't make free ascends. High waves at strong winds, especially from the west. Crow
