Easy dive site

Seitenkanal Ems is a dead end channel. If you watch your air supply, you can dive back and forth. There are no objects here but there is plenty to see. The underwater scenery is formed by basalt blocks and lush vegetation. You will spot eels, pike and perch between the rocks and plants!

Particulars

The site is located in the vicinity of the Meyer shipyard where the largest cruise ships in the world are build. Book in advance on www.meyerwerft.com

Warnings

Be aware that in the fall it can be wet and soggy. The southern entrance is rather steep and slippery. Tell the fishermen that you are diving here, to avoid problems. The metal dam walls might interfere with your compass.
