ULTRA FREEZE
Verenigde Staten, Florida
The Ultra Freeze is the wreck of a nearly 60-meter-long steel-hulled cargo ship, that was originally used as a transport vessel between the Bahamas and Miami. The cargo consisted primarily of refrigerated products such as meat and vegetables. The ship was sunk by the South Florida Spearfishing Council at its present location in the summer of 1984. It's a safe dive site with plenty of openings to enter and exit the wreck.
Particulars
The Ultra Freeze can be reached by boat. Descend via the anchor line. The first thing you'll spot is the wheelhouse, beautifully overgrown with red, green and yellow hard coral. Inside the wreck, you'll see mostly loose cables, a staircase and some open cargo holds.
Warnings
