ULLASTRE 1
Spanje, Cantabria
Dive site Ullastre 1 is an underwater mountain. Just off the coast of the Spanish resort of Llafranc are three fantastic underwater mountains, called Els Ullastres. These are three rock formations that run from the seabed to just below the surface. Dive site Ullastre 1 is closest to the coast and is therefore the most sheltered and shallow. This makes Ullastre 1 perfect for inexperienced divers.
Particulars
Enter the water from the boat. Each of the Ullastres has a buoy that indicates exactly where it's located. The top of Ullastre 1 lies at 11 to 14 meters. Along the wall you'll find gorgonians, moray eels, conger eels, sea bass, octopuses, slugs and mola mola's. Ullastre 1 is also great for macro photography.
Warnings
Beware of boat traffic at dive site Ullastre 1. Take your dive lamp with you.
