H.M.S. STUBBORN
Malta
The HMS Stubborn is in excellent condition. It's prominently located on the bottom northeast of St Pauls Bay, only slightly inclined toward the starboard side. The wreck lies 57 meters deep, but the gigantic submarine can already be spotted at a depth of 30 meters. Once on the wreck you can see the conning tower. The three escape hatches are still open. Almost nobody in Malta knew about this majestic wreck, until 1994. Now it's a popular dive site for experienced wreck divers.
